Mini Portable Review
I recently bought XMind portable. It does not show up on the list of installed programs. Is there any way can make it appear on the list? Many thanks to the reply from Kevin Kelly, he sent me the latest version of XPilot and I followed the directions to install it worked fine. However, I could not get it to run without the installation of Windows drivers.
The Windows drivers are what will let the XMind Portable connects with the computer. XMind will scan the hard drive and download the drivers it needs for the software to run properly. That is where XMind failed on my computer. It was missing one driver that was essential for the software to run properly. So I reinstalled the missing driver, everything worked fine again.
To be sure that you do not encounter this problem, make sure your computer has the latest version of Windows and XMind drivers. You can download the latest drivers from the XPilot website. If this does not work, call your computer's manufacturer for any help. They should have updates available for their operating systems on a regular basis.. Connection by checking the CPU speed and communication speed in the task manager.
