Invisible file sharing
If you're a P2P (peer to peer) user worried about the increasing regulation of file sharing, one solution is to use an 'anonymous' network, which hides your IP address from anyone who cares to look. iMule is a P2P application that looks and functions like the popular eMule program, making it easy for many people to use. However, for new users, it can be baffling, and there is little useful help available. The interface isn't simple or intuitive, and is not attractive.
The main issue with the anonymous file sharing solution is that it's much slower than open networks, and there is nothing that can be done about it. Slower download speeds are the price of anonymity. If you really want to keep your download activity a secret, iMule is a reasonable option. However, the application itself is awkward and feels old fashioned.
