However, for new users, it can be baffling, and there is little useful help available. The interface isn't simple or intuitive, and is not attractive.

The main issue with the anonymous file sharing solution is that it's much slower than open networks, and there is nothing that can be done about it. Slower download speeds are the price of anonymity.
