Data Studios is a powerful Windows Presentation tool which can be used for building windows Presentation based solutions. Create a folder in the default shared folders of your server like S:\MyServer. For this example, the server name used would be MyServer and the main shared directory area would be S:\DataStudio. On the client side, run the DataStudio Installer (either from a CD, or via the downloaded application).
Once the program is installed, select the project and then build it. The wizard guides you through the build process and provides step-by-step instructions on how to install and activate the application. Once the installation is complete, you are able to launch the project in the waveform browser. Select the project and then view the user interface.
An important component of the Data Geoffrey utility is the data selection screen. This allows you to select the data you want to import and save into the appropriate format for your presentation. In the screen, you can create a custom data source that uses the built-in datastudio module with the data selection wizard. You can import graphs, charts, images and text from the databases and you can even save your data as a PowerPoint presentation. You can also edit the existing data source to match the current data you have in the database. If you use the pasco module, you can even import external references into the data source.
