NirSoft has developed WebBrowserBookmarksView. The free software is compatible with Windows XP, up to Windows 10. You can use the standalone file on a 32-bit or 64-bit system, and run it without any installation.
WebBrowserBookmarksView displays details of your bookmarks from Chrome and Firefox. It lets you load the bookmarks list from your current logged-in user profile, remote computer, or from an external hard drive. Then, you can export the list or copy and paste them into a spreadsheet. If you use only a single browser, it is easy to access and organize your bookmarks in Google Chrome.
Software features
WebBrowserBookmarksView displays details such as:
- Title and URL
- Folder name and path
- Position and ID
- Created and modified time
- Web browser and bookmarks file
The software can scan Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Edge, and other browsers. It will also work if your browser is based on Chrome or Firefox. Press Crtl+O to filter them according to specified strings. You can also search for multiple words or strings or find a bookmark with specific terms.
To access a bookmark from your phone, you’ll select the bookmark and press F2 to display a QR code to scan with the QR reader on your phone.
You can utilize command lines for different saving options. For example, you’ll save the bookmarks to a text file, a tab or comma-delimited text file, an HTML 5 file, an XML file, or a JSON file. You can also use a command line to sort columns or start the program with a specified config file.
To view a bookmark on a remote network or external hard drive, you’ll press F9 to access the Advanced Options windows. From there, you can choose the required data source.
Available languages
Currently, the software is available in twelve languages, like French, German, Russian, Spanish, and more. The developer gives instructions on its website to translate WebBrowserBookmarksView in a language of your choice.
Bring it all together
If you often access the internet on different browsers, WebBrowserBookmarksView is the software you need. It lets you pull all your bookmarks together to see all the details and access and save them in different ways. It even offers a command-line option for advanced users.
