This game is like many other Friday Night Funkin’ (FNF) mods; it includes new content and characters but with a retro twist. The FNF games are designed to test your sense of rhythm with quirky songs. The main characters, Boyfriend and Girlfriend, face off against various antagonists in music battles. There are many other FNF mods for you to try, including VS Kapi, Smoke ‘Em Out Struggle VS Garcello and VS Tabi Ex Boyfriend.
Even though Neo is like other FNF mods, it’s also vastly different. It features the same basic story and gameplay, but the developer has changed the background and characters to look more retro. The characters now have a neon look and sleek accessories. Other new features include new songs, sound effects and themed graphics. It’s almost like you’re playing an entirely new game due to the new content.

How to get FNF Neo
Getting this mod is as simple as downloading the ZIP file to a location of your choice. Unlike the other FNF games, it includes an installer, so you don’t need to install it in the original FNF folder. Just unzip the file and install it from the executable file.
Improve your game
Getting good at Neo takes practice. Start every new week with Easy mode and work your way through Normal to Hard. Listen to the soundtrack and get familiar with its rhythm. Then, improve your hand position by using your left hand for Left and Up, and your right hand for Right and Down. In week two, parts of Spookeez will challenge you. To get past this difficult level, focus on the red arrows. It will also help if you play similar games to get used to navigating the arrows.
