Windows Movie Maker is a free software to create movies on Windows using your personal computer and a movie maker application on your personal computer (PC). Windows Movie Maker is not an actual movie making program but it is rather used as a means of converting videos into regular videos. Windows Movie Maker can be integrated with third-party video converters & processors such as Adobe Video Express, Quicktime, and Pure footage. There are other programs that can be used as a means of conversion and those include: Windows Media Player, Camtasia, Screenflow Video Converter, Video Snapshot, Digital Video Editor, Splicex, etc. Windows Movie Maker also allows users to edit images and photos directly from the software.
Windows Movie Maker comes with a VLC media player which is used by Windows Movie Maker to stream and view video clips. These programs include the Free Windows Movie Player, Advanced Windows Movie Maker, and Microsoft Windows Media Player. To use these programs to edit or convert videos, you need to download them from the internet, install them and then open the program which will prompt you for installation and then running it to install the needed software. After you install the required software, you should launch Windows Movie Maker.
After launching the program, you should search for the file that you want to convert into a WMM file and then choose the Convert option from the main menu. You need to follow the instructions listed in the wizard and then click on the Browse to find the video clips. You can use any free software to edit and convert the video clips such as free mediation, vvcfree, psypen, freeware, etc. After you convert the video, you can now insert the audio files that are being imported in your computer.
