Free Friday Night Funkin Mod
VS Shaggy is a free Friday Night Funkin’ mod like B-Side Remixes, Wii Funkin', and Vs. Sky Mod that adds new episodes and music to the base game. Much like the original title, you’ll need to tap your fingers to the keys that appear on the screen. The objective is to beat the opponent by singing like you and your Girlfriend’s relationship depends on it.
This mod includes Shaggy from the Scooby-Doo franchise. It features 2D cartoonish graphics, while you’ll experience seven new songs not available in the original game of Friday Night Funkin’. If you enjoy the music, you can also listen to it on the creator’s YouTube channel.
Sing your heart out
Once you add the VS Shaggy Friday Night Funkin’ mod to the game, you’ll see the Scooby-Doo character on your screen. He’s there to challenge you to new songs, believing he can beat you once and for all. The gameplay involves pressing the appropriate arrow buttons as they appear on the screen at the right time. The one with the most points at the end of the round wins.
Beat the challenging episodes
There are seven episodes over two weeks, featuring three per week and finishing on the final boss battle. You can play the VS Shaggy mod on easy, intermediate, or hard, which becomes progressively more challenging. Beat them all, and you’ll unlock the songs for Freeplay mode.
Graphics and sound
The modding works by adding the creator’s visual and audio designs into the base game. Unfortunately, Shaggy doesn’t look as great as the Boyfriend or the surrounding scenery, which may put some players off. Luckily, it’s not so distracting that you can’t enjoy playing the challenges and listening to the new tunes.
Fill the meter
As always, you’ll need to fill the meter by pressing the correct buttons. When you succeed, your icon will mobe on the meter, but you’ll need to keep an eye on your opponent’s bar. If Shaggy’s has more points than yours by the end of the round, you’ll lose.
Shagalicious grooves
The VS Shaggy Friday Night Funkin’ mod brings an iconic character to the music game, although the graphics could do a better job of depicting his actions. Nonetheless, you’ll love testing the new grooves and unlocking more songs.
