Watcho for Android is a free hybrid of social media and traditional streaming TV services. It combines services that are usually subscription-only with the ability for users to upload their own videos.
As well as video-on-demand, there’s currently a limited range of live TV channels that you can watch via the app. There’s a wide variety of content, including premium web series, live TV, and even ‘Digital Influencer Shows.' Other streaming services you can try are Netflix and Hulu.
Is Watcho free for Dish TV?
Yes. For Dish TV customers, all content is completely free, including live TV as well as video-on-demand. As an introductory offer, Watcho is offering free access to all the on-demand free of charge, no account required.
How do I watch Watcho?
There are two ways in which you can watch Watcho.
- Download the app from the Google Play Store
- Visit the Watcho website
Not all of the live channels available through Dish TV are available through either the app or the website. However, the developer states on the Watcho website that they’re constantly striving to add more live channels to both sources.
What is Watcho Premium?
Watcho Premium is India's popular entertainment app, and it provides access to all premium content which includes exclusive shows, spotlight series, movies, web series, and more. As it’s a premium offering, it’s only available to registered members. You can buy Premium membership on a monthly, six-monthly, or annual basis.
Streaming entertainment
Although the Watcho is still under development, it’s already extremely reliable, and by registering early you can benefit from having access to all on-demand content free of charge.
Considering it’s free to existing Dish TV customers, we’re quite impressed with the number of channels you can access without subscribing to the premium service. Unfortunately, the service is currently only available within India, so any Dish TV customers who are travelling abroad cannot access Watcho's content for the time being.
