Vector Magic Tutorial
Vector Magic is a new Photoshop plugin that simplifies creating complex shaded images using Photoshop's built-in features. It takes the place of complicated edits, like Radial gradient or Masking layers. However, Vector Magic can also be used for simple retouching of single pictures or multiple pictures in one scene - all thanks to its 'snap to grid' feature. Vector Magic allows you to align and modify just about any element in your image - including complex ones like Polygon, clipping plane, text, and normal map data.
Vector Magic Scourgebreaker is a demonstration of the capabilities of this new software. It takes an ordinary image (your own) and changes it into a highly detailed, multi-layered, custom-made image. Simply choose the desired output and download vector desktop edition. You can stretch, flip, skew and zoom and do all sorts of editing - including converting a black and white image to sepia, or vice versa. And if you are still unsure of what you want to do with your image, you can simply crop, resize or alter the shape of the object.
Vector Magic is available both as a free plugin and as a freeware product. The freeware version works great with Windows operating systems, but the plugin is best for those who use Windows, OS X or Linux. After you install the plugin, open the'Vector Magic' dialog box by clicking on the" Pryor Tool" icon located at the bottom right corner of your screen. You can also access the" Vector Magic" help file by clicking on the "Help" button. This software is compatible only with Windows and not OS X, so if your OS X does not support vector graphics, don't worry - the website will still work perfectly fine.
