Surf's Up Game Review
Surf's Up is the multi-player online action game based on the famous Sony Pictures Animation movie of the same title. Surf's Up is an interesting video game, which has a number of fan following across the world. The game is developed by Ubisoft and released for various different platform platforms and also for free on a number of social networking sites. Some of the popular gaming platforms it has been released on our Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox One.
The story of Surf's Up revolves around a young man named Cody who lives in a peaceful town called Mavericks. One day, while he is surfing on his favorite spot, a gigantic whale attacks his surfboard and sinks the local beach making way for the water to flood in causing absolute chaos. In order to save his life, he embarks on a massive mission to find the lost surfboard and return it to the surface as well as prevent the water from covering the sand on top of the ocean. Along the way he teams up with several different individuals like his best friend called Buzz, his adventurous surf instructor named Clutch, a marine biologist named Mrs. Watson who has a crush on him, and a couple of other minor characters that also help make the game exciting.
Another interesting aspect about Surf's Up for those that have played it before is its use of a surfing style game where you use surfing moves to make your surfboard stay afloat the waves and to throw your opponents off balance and allow you to gain points. The interesting part in this aspect is that while you are surfing, you can perform some cool special moves that allow you to score more points than your opponents or even throw them off balance, which can sometimes lead to a penalty. Using these special moves can help you move ahead of your competition and eventually win the game. It makes for an interesting and unique take on what would otherwise be an ordinary activity.
