Rome: Total War Patch Notes
Rome: Total War is one of the most successful strategy games of all time. In the year 32 AD, two hundred years before the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, two armies face off in a fierce battle in the Roman Forum. After only a short period of fighting, both armies leave with nothing but their bodies. With nothing but ashes, they turn their backs on each other, and now, ten years later, the armies find themselves on opposite sides of the Italian lake where they must fight for supremacy once again. You are in command of one of those armies, so you must use tactics and strategy to conquer land and take your opponent by surprise while utilizing buildings and resources to build up your civilization until your army is strong enough to cross the Ligurian border and into the Italian mainland.
The first thing that this game has that many other RTS games do not be a season-long customization mode. Total War: Rome: Total War Patch will enable players to change their game's configuration parameters such as the seasons, the graphics settings, the overall game map, and much more. If you enjoy customizing your game and creating a uniquely personal gaming experience, this is the way to go. You can also tweak the historical era that you are playing in (the game was developed for the Ancient Roman Period, for instance). However, some people prefer to stick to the main game itself and experiencing all the classic features that this game provides.
The best part about the Rome: Total War Patch is its in-depth tutorial that walks through each level, teaches you the ins and outs of the strategies involved, and even gives you hints and tips for improving your game play. If you ever get stuck, or if you want to brush up on strategies or abilities, this is the best place to go. Not only is it free but it is also easy to use. Many of the instructions are also available online for your reference. It is definitely worth the download!
