RipBot264 for Windows

RipBot264 is a simple but effective encoding app that will help you render your videos in different formats. This makes RipBot264 the perfect app for putting videos on portable devices, for example, but with one proviso: you need to know a bit about encoding to get the most out of it, and we don't recommend it for beginners.

RipBot264 is very much a homemade program. There's nothing wrong with that - it handles lots of encoding profiles and options, batch operations, and works fast and smoothly - but it can be a little rough around the edges, and needs several codecs pre-installed. If you don't already have them, you'll need to download them separately, as instructed by RipBot264.

Overall, we'd recommend RipBot264 if you are comfortable with encoding apps and you know you don't need too many fancy extras. If you're not, we'd recommend a more user-friendly video conversion option. This will make the job much easier for beginners.
