Age Of Mythology: The Titans Comes Out Of The Gates With A Whole New Gaming Experience
The new Age of Mythology: The Titans expansion pack is not a complete overhaul of the game, but it does introduce a few new faces as well as some fresh items that are worth playing. For example, one of the weapons introduced is the Prowler, a watercraft which is able to swim through tears in the ground. When inside an area with a lot of water, it can use its tears to propel itself forward. However, if you've ever used a Prowler before, you probably know how easily they get snagged around corners and get stuck, thus negating their ability to be used effectively. This can be frustrating if you're trying to rush into an enemy area to finish them off quickly.
Despite being a Microsoft application, Age of Mythology: The Titans can still be played using the traditional WINE (WIN32) application which works just as well as any other. You can also use the classic UT remade for the game, which is fine because it will work perfectly with all of the expansions and add-ons. The only issue with this is that this particular version of Windows does not have an MSN support button built in which makes the compatibility process a bit more difficult. This is something that most people will find is either extremely frustrating or simply an easy feature of getting used to for the new game that comes out on consoles.
