Friday Night Funkin’ is a rhythm game in which you play as a boy trying to score a date with his girlfriend. Every week you battle a new fan-made character in this new mod. The Sarvente’s Mid-Fight Masses mod takes place during week six and features Sarventes, a nun. She is eager to get you to join her church and even goes so far as to challenge you to a rap battle. You’ll fight this new opponent in a sing-off.

Features
This mod offers four new songs for you to master during the sing-off. The game provides cutscenes that are fully replayable, an excellent dialogue system and fantastic art. There’s also a new difficulty mode for you to play on.
The difficulty setting is called Alt Mode; not all songs are available on this difficulty though. Sarvente is not the only character you fight in the sign-off; the game introduces multiple characters on-screen simultaneously. There are also various sprites and emotions for each character during dialogue. A useful new feature lets you skip discussion with the space bar or progress it faster with the right arrow key or D key.
You’ll need to download and install the free Friday Night Funkin game before you can install the Sarvente’s Mid-Fight Masses mod.
Gameplay
The Sarvente’s Mid-Fight Masses mod features a cute nun who tries to recruit you to her church. The difficulty of the songs increases insanely by the third one, and it doesn’t always feel fair. Thrills are used a lot that require you to press two keys, one right after the other, for a single note in the song.
This makes it more difficult than it should be and is one of the biggest challenges in the game, even on the normal difficulty level. Sometimes, the notes don’t register properly when pressed or are too delayed compared to the music.
Fun rhythm game
Sarvente’s Mid-Fight Masses - Friday Night Funkin’ mod is a worthy addition to character mods for the original Friday Night Funkin’ game. It has new characters and features that add to the storyline and creates a better fit with the lore of the main game’s story. It’s a fun and engaging game for fans of the original.
