God of War is a popular game, and Mimir’s Vision attempts to capitalise on it by providing a mobile app describing the lore of the new installation. Beyond providing a map and information, it can be used with augmented reality tech which spreads out the map before your very eyes.
Companion app focused on lore
This is not a game, but rather supplemental material that helps you learn about the mythos behind the game. With the voice of Mimir reading the lore, you can explore the world keying in on key locations.
Augmented reality support
If you have a newer Android, you can spread the map out on a flat surface before you using the AR. With your phone, will be able to control where you can zoom in on and where you look in. It’s an interesting experience for a supplemental app.

There isn’t a large amount of content in this programme. Also, the AR isn’t very sharp, and the map could have more details on it. People who have previous experience with AR will notice that the images could be more crisp.

Overall this app doesn’t have much to offer. Even though it has the AR component to it, it doesn’t stand out or provide much to anyone but a fan of this series. If you like the world presented in this series, then you should consider downloading this application.
