It has a simple and clean interface that allows you to select the drive to be scanned, and then perform searches based on keywords or different criteria, whether that be an image, audio, or video files, documents, compressed files, or email items. Wise Data Recovery is able to undertake and complete scanning processes in very short periods of time due to advanced algorithms. If you choose, you can also select recovery file types or enter keywords before scanning to narrow down search results. Wise Data Recovery also analyzes the possibility of recovering your lost files and provides you with details about their recoverability, before you decide to start the recovery process. Overall, Wise Data Recovery has an intuitive interface that is very simple to use. Recovering and deleting files takes hardly any effort and can be accomplished very quickly.

Wise Folder Hider

Wise Folder Hider is a great little app that has been designed to password-protect your folders and files, so that prying eyes are unable to read or modify them. The app provides enhanced security for files and folders on your Windows PC, blocking any unauthorized access and securing your privacy. Where Wise Folder Hider comes into it’s own, is the great way it offers users an optional additional higher level of security. You can set a second password for each of the files and folders hidden by Wise Folder Hider. This is great for those who have high security concerns due to having confidential files. The app’s interface is easy to use as it is very intuitive. As an additional bonus, Wise Folder Hider gives you the option whilst installing it to add ‘Hide File/Folder with Wise Folder Hider’ to the context menu. You are then able to hide files or folders directly by right-clicking them without launching the app. Where the app differs from similar software is that when it comes to modifying a hidden file or folder, you don’t have to unhide it, edit it, and then hide it again. A single click of the ‘Open’ button will open the hidden file or folder, so that it becomes visible to you. You can then edit or modify it as if it has been unhidden. When you have completed editing, you just close the program and the file or folder will become hidden again automatically. This useful feature comes in handy when you edit frequently used hidden files.

Wise PC 1stAid

Wise PC 1stAid is a smart troubleshooting tool, which can help you locate solutions to some common computer issues. Included in the array of errors that Wise PC 1stAid can fix are ones relating to desktop icons, the task manager, the registry editor and Web pages, amongst other things. When you first start Wise PC 1stAid you are presented with a simple interface that is divided into two sections. The main section has links to all of the main problems the app can solve.The other section has a link to the contact form, where you can contact the tech support forum in the event that your problem cannot be solved using the app. When you locate the ‘problem’ you are experiencing, simply clicking on the icon will open area with a description of the issue and the solution to it. Next to this is a ‘Fix Now’ button, which starts the process that will rectify the problem. The downside is that when clicking to fix some of the problems, the app requests that you install additional software such as Wise Care 365 and Wise Memory Optimizer.

Wise Force Deleter

Wise Force Deleter allows you to delete any file in your Windows system, even if they are used by other apps or access to them is denied without administrator privileges. Windows has been designed to prevent you from deleting any file that is being used by a current running app, as it could result in a crash. This security feature does come with a downside however; you may not being able to delete any potentially dangerous or unwanted files, because the system views it as not accessible. This is where Wise Force Deleter comes into play. This dedicated file shredder gives you a safe means to permanently delete a file in Windows, even if it is locked by other apps or has access limitations. Wise Force Deleter adds a new item in the Windows context menu. This can be used quickly to select the file you wan to erase. This does have a downside however, you can only select one file at a time. You can circumvent this, however, by manually creating lists and schedule files for deletion in the main window of the app. Overall, Wise Force Deleter is a great app the has a user-friendly interface, which is easy to navigate by users of all levels of expertise.

Wise Care 365

Wise Care 365 is a PC performance enhancement* application, which consists of five key elements: PC Checkup, System Cleaner, System Tune-up, Privacy Protector and System Monitoring. The PC Checkup element can check the whole running condition of your PC, grade its health status, and, if necessary, provide you with quick-fix solutions. The System Cleaner element will help you scan and clean invalid registry entries, useless files, junk from browsers and redundant Windows components. The System Tuneup element optimizes your system, network, defragment disk and registry; manage startup & services and context menu. Privacy Protector will erase your browsing history, including viewed pictures, watched movies/videos, accessed files and visited pages. It can also prevent files or data from being recovered by specialised recovery software, and it can generate passwords for you. System monitoring allows you to overview system processes and hardware information such as temperature and memory usage, etc. As well as the above tools, Wise Care 365 also includes a restoring and scheduler function as well. Overall, Wise Care 365 has a simple and intuitive interface that both novice and expert will be able to use. That coupled with some a well rounded out tool-kit makes Wise Care 365 a useful applicaiton to have. *Note, some features are only available in the registered version of Wise Care 365.

Wise Disk Cleaner

Wise Disk Cleaner helps you claw back misused space on your hard drive by easily removing all sorts of redundant junk files, quickly. Wise Disk Cleaner has support for lots of different file formats and extensions, including temporary Internet files and installation logs, old files and index files as well. Wise Disk Cleaner can be configured to add a list of folders to be included in the cleanup. You can also filter out file types by adding them to the exclusion list. By running a disk defragmentation program you can improve the performance of your PC. Hard disk drives become fragmented over time, and it is this disk fragmentation that makes your hard disks become slow and unresponsive, which, in turn, can slow down the performance of your PC. The ‘Disk Defrag’ feature of Wise Disk Cleaner is able to rearrange fragmented data on your drive, so that it can work more efficiently. Overall, Wise Disk Cleaner has a customizable interface that is easy-to-use, although it is a little cluttered. The app has some basic and advanced tools to choose from, and it is able to search for and delete a wide range of temporary file types. It has some nice features such as scheduled cleaning and you can configure the app to auto-exit upon task completion. That being said, there are better alternatives available on the market such as Piriform's CCleaner

Wise Program Uninstaller is a handy tool that helps you uninstall applications from your computer and delete leftover files. It has some extra features under the hood in comparison to the default Add or Remove Programs function of Windows. The app’s interface is clean and intuitive. Wise Program Uninstaller automatically displays a list of all installed apps on your system when the apps starts. This list reveals useful information on each item: name, publisher, size, installation date and version. Additionally, and more importantly, you can find out the total amount of apps installed on your system and the occupied size on the disk. Wise Program Uninstaller comes equipped with two uninstall modes: Safe and Forced. The Safe option performs file uninstallation under normal conditions. It tries to remove all related data, without putting the operating system at risk of failure. The Forced option uses brute force to remove the respective data, together with associated files and Windows Registry entries that may be left behind on the hard drive. This option is generally not considered to be a safe measure, as Windows may begin to experience errors afterwards. It does, however, guarantee to remove all items that were created during the installation process. Overall, Wise Program Uninstaller is swift at finishing tasks whilst using a low to moderate quantity of CPU and system memory. Due to the intuitive layout and powerful features, Wise Program Uninstaller can be navigated by users of all skill levels with no issues.
