The Beach is an endless battle royale game by Afterschool Studio. The adventure begins when sixty players join in the game to play a hapless seagull. You must do your best to avoid a relentless wave and other obstacles on the beach to become the last player standing. If you do not succeed, the leader of the game rotates to the next player in line. Even by touching the wave, you’ll go ‘poof!’ This will clear all your gold and leaderboard status.
Modest battle royale game
This online multiplayer video game packs survival, exploration, and scavaging elements into a campy, tropical game about seagulls surviving the beach. With over 60 players per round, each of you has to do your best to overcome different obstacles. Your main antagonist is the waves of the ocean. A single touch from the aggressive waters can send you flying out of the leaderboard.
To get on the leaderboard, you have to dig up gold. The catch is that the gold is closer to waves. So, you must move fast and stealthily if you want to gather the most gold without getting caught in the water. You can use items on the beach to block and get ahead of other players. Bottles will blocks players from moving, while bread will pull players down.
The Beach offers a unique concept and art style but lacks an enticing win condition. This means you will not interact with other players at close range as there are not a lot of items you can fight for. Another thing missing from this quirky battle royale is the offensive items. The bottle and bread can only slow players down but they do not knock players out of the game. Overall, this a simple battle royale that you can play with users from all over the world.
