SnapCrab is an online desktop scrapbooking application that allows you to easily create and manage desktop shortcuts from your favorite web browsers. This is a free desktop scraper for Windows, using Gimp & Squidpress as examples. If you are familiar with Gimp, this application will be very easy to use for creating desktop shortcuts. You can drag-and-drop the icons to place them on your desktop. SnapCrab works great in combination with Freeware Manager, another great desktop scrapbooking tool. With the Manager, you can import, save, and share pictures directly from your digital camera or e-mail account. To do this, simply copy the URL of the picture you want to capture, right click the "select picture" link found under the "add" drop down menu, and then click "import/save".
