Pirate Fox Detective: The Case of The Conspicuous Klawz Crew is a free indie detective game where you play as a curious fox. By searching for clues, asking questions and comparing testimonies, you’ll be able to solve the mystery. Pirate Fox Detective is a short game with about 40 minutes of solid gameplay. The issue to be investigated is a lot less severe than other indie detective games like Holo Dungeon.
Backstory
You’re the lead detective on a case to solve a mystery. There are only a few suspects, and everyone is holding back information from you. Your job is to get them to face their lies while you gather all the information and scour the island, searching for helpful clues.
Kaptain Klawz is outraged at the blatant attack on his person, so be sure to investigate what happened.
Gameplay
This narrative-based detective game will have you at your wit’s end as you try to deduce the truth in this complex web of lies. You’re given a mission: investigate the captain’s crew, known as the Paddling Pirates, and try to figure out what happened to his eyepatch.
The controls are pretty basic, with simple drag, point and click mouse controls. The characters are quirky and boast unique personalities. Overall, it’s a sweet game with both an appealing yet simple art style.

Pirate Fox Detective is available in English only and is about 100 MB to download. It’s recommended for ages 13 or older.
An interesting game
The narrations, curious characters and simple art style all make for an exciting experience. The game is well worth a playthrough if you’re into indie games with rich stories. Although it’s short, it’s just the right length for the story it wants to tell.
