There are over 10 different options for Geosetter for various platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux, Online/Internet and Android. The very best option is Geotag, which isn't technically free but is Open Source and therefore absolutely free. Some other good programs such as GeoTag, Houdahgeo, GeoPhoto and Picomio are all Free and very good. Houdahgeo is probably the best out of all of them, as it allows you to import/ Export photos from your digital camera directly into your desktop or mobile device.
For some people it's important to be able to easily change to data on the fly. For example, if you are from Europe but want to visit Australia, rather than purchasing plane tickets and spending extra money to fly from another country, you can download an application that will easily let you know when the airports in both places change. GeoSecurity is another program that you can use to track the path of airplanes over the country. As with many freeware tools, it is easy to use and easy to understand. Another program that comes highly recommended by the Geosetter developers, especially for those who are Windows users, is called "Xenu", which allows you to quickly see the geographic location of any place around the world.
The developers of the Geosetter app think that there are many features available for you to take advantage of. It's a great app for anyone, whether it's a business that travels a lot, or even for someone who just wants to keep up with where he/she stands in the world. One of my favorite features is the ability to see what the weather is doing over the next seven days. This information comes in handy when I'm planning a trip, because I can easily check the weather at my leisure. You can also find out about the current prices at different locations, and also how much money it will cost to drive from one place to another.
