Google Cloud Prints is Google's response to Windows Live Meeting, the online presentation tool provided by Microsoft that integrates multiple devices, including smartphones, with web conferencing features. Google Apps for business users can integrate Google Cloud Prints with existing software such as Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Project files. Google Apps for businesses can also be used to create new documents, presentations and shareware applications.
Unlike Microsoft's service, Google Cloud Prints doesn't require any special computer servers or software. Instead, users just need to access Google's website and choose the option to access Google cloud print. Google's interface makes it easy for anyone to choose the kind of document to print, from PDF to images and scanned documents. Depending on the type of devices connected to the internet, Google can display the files either in the form of a traditional thumbnail or as a full-fledged document.
Google's new print service comes with various advantages over Microsoft's existing print solution. It allows multiple devices to connect to the web for multi-platform printing. Moreover, Google Cloud Prints has integrated printing capabilities with Google apps for businesses, which previously were only available to customers and Google employees. Users can instantly send printed documents to others using their Google devices or through the Google Cloud Platform. Google's offering also includes additional security measures to help prevent unauthorized printing.
