Game Downloader is one of the few programs that actually does what it says to do allows you to download various games! This nifty little piece of software has a small installation footprint and works just like a mini-installation store, allowing you to browse a large collection of games and then download exactly the ones you need to play. In fact, the program can even provide you with recommendations on what to play based on popularity or even according to difficulty. You'll notice that the Game Downloader comes with a built-in database of different online games, including classic PC games like Space Invaders and Pac-Man, as well as the ever popular Wii game Wii Sports Resort, and many more.
I was really impressed with the Game Downloader, as it allowed me to easily search through a large collection of games, and not had any issues with the download speeds. After downloading the software, I launched the program and was presented with a desktop pop-up that displayed a list of my installed games. From here, I just select the ones that I wanted to download and wait for them to be downloaded and installed onto my computer. Everything was seamless and smooth, and I didn't have to worry about downloading games one by one to test them out, which is a very common practice these days.
Game Downloader was not at all difficult to use, and provided a very quick and easy way for me to select and download various games onto my windows PC. I especially like the feature that lets me know which version of a game I'm trying to play, so I don't have to waste time looking for a particular game to install onto my computer. It also provides a very useful backup feature, which lets me easily retrieve any files that I may have accidentally deleted. Although Game Downloader doesn't work on the Nintendo Wii yet, it is my understanding that it will most likely do in the near future. I am very happy with this download software and will continue to utilize it until a more widespread gaming platform becomes available on my personal computer.
