VoiceMaster - Recording, composing and performing with the ViSN
The Windows XP VoiceMaster application is a simple, efficient and highly effective recording studio software solution. Although similar in appearance to many other professional audio recording products the VoiceMaster XP is actually equipped with a set of exclusive features that sets it apart from its competitors. These include the aforementioned exclusive call recording feature (which can be used with Skype or any other online chatting application); the extremely useful mixer & send / return functions; an extensive library containing popular voices and instruments; and a large number of user-friendly recording and playback options, among other features.
The Windows XP VoiceMaster also provides several additional benefits, most notably in terms of MIDI sequencing and recording support. Unlike some other MIDI sequencer tools, the VoiceMaster MIDI sequencer has an extremely comprehensive range of built in controls, which allow for comprehensive MIDI recording and MIDI sequencing functionality. This not only includes call recording facilities, but also includes a feature which allows you to duplicate a single voice and group of voices. The built in virtual mic amp is particularly useful when recording vocals, as its low level monitoring will allow you to monitor the performance of your vocalist without having to excessively monitor their instruments.
In addition to the exclusive call recording features available with the VoiceMaster, it also features a wide range of popular and useful instruments and sound processing sections. The Vocal Master provides three different recording styles: Pure Voice, Audience and Live. The Vocal Deluxe recording style is quite popular amongst vocalists who like to experiment with a wide range of sounds, whilst the Audience recording style is useful when trying to get a specific type of sound out of a group of people. The Live recording style is suitable for practicing with a band or performing live. This specialised training mode gives the user the opportunity to record their performances as they happen. Some other useful features include the Vibrato, Noise Gate and Swing Release.
