Refraction for Windows

Refraction, developed by Buzzsaw Game Studios, is a free-to-play action game set in the aftermath of the great war against the Combine, the alien antagonists of the Half-Life series. Follow the journey of Tealbug, a robot, as he defends against unexpected attackers enforcing the Combine’s ideologies. With a narrative that mirrors Freeman's adventures and visuals reminiscent of Valve classics, Refraction serves as an unofficial sequel to the canceled Episode Three.

In this game, players navigate a post-war Half-Life universe where humans upload their consciousness into robots. Encounter a variety of robot enemies, expanding the lore and storyline of the franchise. Despite its potential as an indie title, Refraction faces challenges with blocky animations, inconsistent movements, and visual issues that impact gameplay.
