Free GTA5 prison mod
GTA5 Prison Mod for Windows from developer pongo1231 adds a free gritty feature to Grand Theft Auto 5 by allowing you to go to prison. The game’s long been renowned (or infamous) for its open-world freedom allowing players to indulge in a wave of criminal activity.
It's only logical, therefore, that there should be consequences for your misdeeds. While prison already exists in GTA5, it's notoriously difficult to get in there in open play. This GTA5 Prison Mod makes it possible. Many more great mods are available for GTA5, including Chaos Mod V and GTA 5 Low End PC Mod.
Without this GTA5 mod, you spend time in the local jail rather than the Bolingbroke Penitentiary state prison if you get arrested. With it, you only need to get arrested, and you can go to prison.
How do you go to prison in GTA5?
Alternatively, if you have that one-star wanted level, you can jump straight over to Bolingbroke by hitting F12 on your keyboard.
How do you get out of prison?
With the GTA5 prison mod, there are two options for getting out of prison. If you've managed to hang onto enough money, you may be able to post bail.
Apart from serving your sentence, your only other option is to break out. To do that, you'll have to form allegiances and do deals with fellow inmates if you’re going to have any chance of getting past all the heavily-armed guards.
What happens if you die in prison?
Unless there are any post-death mods available for GTA5 (we haven't found any yet), you will respawn.
Our take
The GTA5 Prison Mod adds an additional real-world element to the gameplay. All the familiar prison 'activities' are there, creating more volatile situations that must be confronted. It links well with GTA5 itself, so it's worth the download if you fancy deviating from the normal gaming style.
