By gaining an appreciation for these relationships, students will be better equipped to understand the body's intricate structures and their functions.
Anatomy & Physiology: Anatomy and physiology are two separate areas of study. Gross anatomy is the study of large body structures without magnification, while microscopic anatomy deals with smaller structures, such as cells, tissues, and organs. Microscopical anatomy focuses on the relationships between different body structures. This includes histology and cytology, as well as other advanced topics.
