SigmaPlot - A Fast and Efficient Scientific Graphical Software Package
Screenshots
Sigmaplot is a fast and efficient graphical user interface tool that controls the plotter on the Scieneer. Users gain access to a wide variety of functions such as real time data processing, complex mathematical calculations and other statistics such as mean, standard deviation and other data sets such as those from probability tables or from statistical distributions. Users can plot, fit a trendline or other functions to a data set quickly and easily with the use of Sigmaplot. Users can also save and restore data to the host PC in different formats such as text files, Excel or CSV.
Software Description: Sigmaplot is an integrated visual tool for scientists and engineers using a general purpose computing environment. The program controls a plotter, which is a graphical user interface tool that creates charts from a mathematical function, such as the sinus curve, quaternion, biometric function, etc., and displays the results in a chart. Sigmaplot allows the user to draw a line through the points plotted on the chart and easily move the plot along the x-axis. The user can also specify a bounding curve for the graph, and the slope of the curve can be automatically calculated. Additionally, the user can select different size labels and fill patterns for the chart.
This software package contains many types of plots, such as the SimpleRTX (aka SimpleRx) which uses the SQL Server database to store and handle the large amount of information that is needed to plot a plot. Another type of plot is the Global Traceable Plot which is based on the premise that all plotted data have an underlying mean that is mathematically calculated by dividing it by the number of observations. There are other types of plots available in SigmaPlot which are based on statistical distributions or probability tables. Users need only to install the appropriate software package to perform their statistical data analysis using SigmaPlot.
