Free multiplayer mobile gaming contest
Finger On The App 2 by Beast Interactive is the sequel of the initial challenge held in 2020. It’s a simple online multiplayer-endurance contest with a hefty sum attached to it. The new release features some assistance options to promote fierce, competitive spirits.
The original Finger On The App challenge was a collaboration between the famous YouTube streamer MrBeast and the stunt app developer MSCHF.
A one-off challenge
It featured a prize pool of up to $25,000, but anybody who got eliminated could affect the final sum. MrBeast's company released the second challenge, keeping the same gameplay but removing the chance to change the prize money.
Simple yet brutal
The rules are straightforward, resembling Skillful Finger gameplay but with much larger stakes. This contest is all about patience and endurance, which keeps the challenge rating high even with simple tasks.
The player must keep their fingerprint on the screen for as long as possible to win. Any disruptions, such as a call or notification, cuts off the touch and disqualifies the person.
You’ll have to keep moving your finger to prove you’re not dishonest. On-screen prompts are another way to tell whether a player is cheating.
Reward and eligibility
This app is free to download for Android and iOS devices, making it accessible for most people interested in the challenge. All you need is an uninterrupted internet connection and enough persistence to see it through.
This contest boasts a prize of $100,000. The eligibility rules got much stricter for the second release, including only legal adults—18 and older—and people living in one of the 50 US states, Mexico or Canada—excluding Quebec.
Assistance available
The new game introduces a Battle Mode, pairing random players and challenging them to outlast each other in quick, five-minute encounters. A victory earns you cookies, redeemable for extra lives.
In-app purchases are an alternative way to get this help. However, the competition restricts each player to three extras only, after which a mistake means elimination.
An exciting opportunity
This little app is a fantastic opportunity to earn money or have fun trying. The stakes are even higher, but the simple essence of the original remains. The app won’t be of much use after the contest is over, though—unless the YouTuber decides to host a third challenge.
