Thrillville: Off the Rails is an official theme park game based on the hit movie, Thrillville. It's the follow-up to the popular first game Thrillville: Escape from Pompeii. The game has been released in North America in September 2021. The theme of the game is based on the idea that the Yellowstone National Park is cursed and if you can save yourself by speeding through the park on your dirt bike, you'll be rewarded with unlimited thrills.

Thrillville: Off the Rails serves as a spiritual prequel to the successful Thrillville video game series. The story centers around the character of Doc, who is part of a group of hardened escape artists who use a train to make their way to California and eventually earn a fortune to help their fellow escape artists in starting a new life. The game presents the theme park rides from Thrillville: Escape from Pompeii, allowing players to get a feel for the game's physics and fun dynamics. As in the previous games, you are free to choose from a selection of characters (Doc, Dora, and Mr. T) and select from various scenarios (race against the zombies, rescue the captured animals, etc). This time around, the theme park attractions are more interactive and have more elaborate set-ups.

The graphics and sound design of the game have a cartoonish style, similar to that of Thrillville: Smash and Burn or Wave Runner. The overall visual presentation looks great and is not too taxing on the system's system resources. The online tutorial guides you through the controls, and once you've mastered the basics, the tutorial will lead you through the actual Thrillville: Off the experience itself. The online multiplayer option is available for free, and while it doesn't give you the chance to try the different coasters, it does help you gain some familiarity with the game's features. Overall, Thrillville: Off the Rails looks to be a fun family-friendly theme park ride, that can satisfy the thrill seeker in all of us.
