Script Hook V is a free Windows mod manager for Grand Theft Auto V. It’s a library that makes the GTA V gaming experience much more versatile. The developer, Alexander Blade, has also included the latest ASI Loader and Native Trainer. This opens up wider modding capabilities than non-ASI mods can deliver.
You get more control over general game functions and ensure that you can run mods in the game without causing instability, which tends to be a common problem. There aren’t currently too many mod managers around for Windows, but we found a couple that you may find interesting: Multi-Mod Manager and Frosty Mod Manager.
What is Script Hook V?

How do you install Script Hook V to GTA 5?
First, download the latest version of Script Hook V to your PC. Once you've done that, copy the Dinput8.dll, NativeTrainer.asi and ScriptHookV.dll files to the main GTA5 folder on your PC. It's the same folder where the GTA5.exe file is stored.

Once you've installed it, go into GTA5 and hit F4 on your keyboard. The Native Trainer will open in your game screen, so you can go ahead and modify your game.
Is Script Hook V updated?
Since compiled script plugins only depend on ScriptHookV.dll, it’s easier when GTA5 updates. If you wish, you can wait for Script Hook V to update automatically.
However, when the game updates, it's best to update it manually. This will ensure that your installed mod scripts continue to work properly.
