Select Save As to Copy Data From a partially Damaged Zip Archive
The primary features of this software are its ability to create a Zip with a custom structure, and its ability to restore selected data from a damaged or corrupted Zip. Once a Zip is opened, the computer accesses it through the command line interface (GUI). While launching the Object Fix program for fixing Zip archives, one must ensure that the operating system on the computer to be used in the recovery process is supported. Windows 98, Windows 2021, Windows XP and Windows Vista are the operating systems that can run the program. Some users may find it helpful to also install a Zip recovery tool along with the Object Fix so that the program's functionality can be enhanced.
After launching the Object Fix utility program, it will scan the selected Zip files, and if it finds any damaged Zip files, it will repair them automatically. One will then be able to view the Zip files that were recovered and select save as to copy the recovered data into the specified Zip archive files. It is important to note that a fully functioning recovery tool is an absolute prerequisite for successfully recovering the data.
