Free simulation game for Android
Too Hot to Handle NETFLIX is a free simulation game for Android by Netflix Inc. As you can imagine, it’s based on Netflix’s eponymous show, where 10 adults live together without being able to have any physical contact with others, suffering penalties for doing so.
Unlike other games based on Netflix shows like Squid Games - 456 Survival and Cookie Carver: Life Challenge, this game is an official Netflix release, so as you’d expect, it stays true to the show’s premise and features. In fact, it puts you under the skin of a fully-customisable contestant aiming to win the show.
To say the graphics in Too Hot to Handle NETFLIX are simplistic is an understatement. The Sims-4-like characters are very detailed, and there are many customisation options. However, you might expect more from a company like Netflix, which is also a high-quality video content creator.
Low production values
The game lacks animations, character expression, and many other details that would make your experience much more immersive. Dialogues don’t have audio either. It all feels like a half-baked indie title, not something from an industry titan like Netflix.
It’s all about your choices
Being based on a reality TV show, your interactions with others matter more than anything else. There are multiple love stories, and temptation is ever-present. However, there’s little more than that.
Since your objective is, supposedly, winning the prize, you already know what you need to do. Simply reject any advances from anyone, and don’t engage romantically with others. The only incentive for engaging is to explore the different romantic storylines.
True to the show
Too Hot to Handle is regarded as one of the worst shows produced by Netflix, having a whopping amount of more than 2,500 1/10 scores on IMDB over a total of 13,200. In that sense, Too Hot to Handle NETFLIX sticks to the show offering the same features and quality many despise.
However, if you’re a fan of the show and would’ve liked to participate, it might be worth a try. Even then, the biggest issue is that you already know the “right” choices, which takes away much of the excitement.
