Graffiti Studio: An Introduction

After years of searching for one of the notorious graffiti artists to grace new York city subways with their creations, police finally unmasked the elusive vandal, blaming Steven wellingberg, but only after he was captured on video by a surveillance camera. A full-length video was recorded over three days in December, showing the vandal and five others brandishing weapons as they spray-painted sidewalks and buildings in the New York area. In the video, one can see that the group targets mostly businesses. At one point in the video, a weapon is seen pointed at a female victim.
Graffiti art continues to plague New York City, even after the so-called war on graffiti has been declared. Last month, a judge ordered that an artist who drew the flag of Hezbollah be thrown off a Brooklyn bridge. In August, the band vandals destroyed the front door of the Bank of America in Manhattan, spray-painting "robbing bank" across the doors in red paint. With graffiti and vandalism rampant throughout the city, many property owners are afraid to leave their buildings unprotected and many have made plans to remove their walls to prevent vandals from defacing their property.
But it's not just commercial buildings that have been targeted. A church in Queens recently had its front door dented with the graffiti "Pig Pen" and a child's bicycle was graffitied with "Kool-Aid." In another case, the graffiti "Stop the Violence" was painted on a church in Brooklyn. Police arrested a 14-year-old boy with the same crime while he was walking down Rodeo Drive. If you haven't tried your hand at graffiti art, now is the time to get out your crayons, charcoal sticks, and markers and get creative. Graffiti Studio, the first graffiti studio in New York City, is waiting to show you everything you've been waiting for.
