If you want to change your default gateway (also known as the IP address of your computer), you can find a lot of help online. But sometimes, getting help online can be frustrating. Especially, when it is something that can easily be done by yourself, with just a few clicks of the mouse. Fortunately, there is a much easier way to find out your router's IP address. You can use Windows IP Lookup, a free, reliable tool for Windows users.
To get your router IP address with Windows, simply follow these easy steps: Type trace ip address into the search box and click OK. In the IP Lookup result box, click the button marked Reverse Lookup. In the Reverse Lookup result box, click the option Reverse Trace; choose the country or regions where you are; and choose the IP data packets you want to trace.
In most cases, Windows will automatically detect the default gateway and connect to it. If not, you need to enter the IP addresses of your favorite websites. Then, you will see the details of the default gateway that you specified in the IP Lookup. You can now enter the IP addresses of your own websites, and you should be able to see your own router IP addresses and network connection. Finally, you can go online again, securely and privately.
