Yahoo! Music Jukebox - Is it Dead?
The Yahoo! Music Jukebox seems like it's going to be the death of the great Yahoo! Music Player. For those of you that are still rocking an old Yahoo! Music Player, well there's good news and bad news.
Apparently, it's the death of the great mp3 player, discount, album, download manager, radio player, buy the station, online radio station, auto dj, super duper, and wonderful music library. For a few years there was really nothing to like with the product; however, there appears to be nothing to like anymore. For some reason, the Windows interface on the Yahoo! Music Jukebox is no longer available for download.
For the first time in over seven years I can honestly say that the Yahoo! Music Jukebox just doesn't cut it any more. It's slow to load, the screen is almost unreadable, it freezes up frequently and the speakers are horrible. If you have an older version of Windows or even Linux, then you will not be able to run the software on these operating systems. I don't even want to think about using the Windows version on my portable devices because it's just insane how poor the sound quality is.
