The program autoformats your USB in case you have a file format that is not accepted. Common formats that the freeware includes are FAT16, FAT32, NTFS and ZIP. WinSetupFromUSB formats the flash drive quickly. You can watch the progress at the bottom of the interface in the status bar.
A ‘Job done’ notification appears to let you know that you can move on to the next step in case you had to format your drive before you began. The formatted USB disk shows up in the first dropdown menu with the new file format. The next step is to add the ISO file to the USB.
A list of Linux and Windows versions is available for you to choose from based on the ISO file that you use. A button to the right of the menu names lets you select the ISO file that you want from your PC directory. The ISO file name populates into the bar after you pick the file for the Windows Setup.
Additional choices at the bottom of the interface allow you to choose ‘Advanced options’, ‘Test in QEMU’, and ‘Show Log’ before you tap on ‘Go’ to begin the boot. A warning message may appear to make sure that you choose the correct disks or drivers. The files are available inside your USB folder once the process is complete.
