Using the Microsoft Game Engine to Play Tomb Raider: Legend
Tomb Raider: Legend is a first person action-adventure's video game developed by Crystal Dynamics and released for Microsoft Windows under the name of Tomb Raider: Legend. It's the seventh major entry in the Tomb Raider franchise and the second in a new franchise reboot which recreates the history and personality of modern day leading heroine, Tomb Raider. In this game, players take on the roll of the Tomb Raider heroine and must save the world from a group of hostile outsiders who want to control the galaxy.
You play as Tomb Raider heroine, a professional adventurer, who throughout Tomb Raider: Legend has to save the world while solving puzzles and fighting enemy characters while doing so. Your journey takes you through many settings such as the Himalayas, Africa, and Asia. On your travels you are also required to save the world from evil beings who intend to wipe out the human race with an assault on a large facility near Sydney, Australia. It is possible to play as Tomb Raider online using the Windows Server, and select between the single player and multi player modes. There are various game modes such as story, survival, challenge, and survival Endless.
One of the features present in the game is the in-built Xbox Live support. The feature allows the player to connect to the Xbox Live network through their computer and interact with other players who are logged into the game. This is very helpful if you find yourself stuck somewhere and don't know where to go, or if you wish to chat with your friends, but aren't able to get online due to your broadband connection. This is one reason why this game is quite compatible with the Windows Vista operating system, as it correctly redirects you to the Tomb Raider: Legend login page instead of the main Tomb Raider site. The only issue is that some computers that do not have any wireless adapters may not be able to connect to the Xbox Live network. In this case, one has to use the LAN function in the game setup instead of the normal Internet option.
