The Matchless KungFu is an open-world role-playing game that allows you to freely explore a vast world and take on any martial arts role your heart desires. In this sandbox game from BILIBILI, players can curate their own storylines and experience the wide environment in hundreds of different ways. Similar to games like Hytale, The Matchless KungFu offers no restrictions so that players can fully express their creativity. You’ll be able to build your world from the ground up so every detail is entirely up to you. Keep in mind, though, that the game is still only available as a demo.
While players can create their very own stories and experiences in The Matchless KungFu, one prevalent theme is that all the elements of the game are based on WuXia, or themes related to martial arts in ancient China. Players can freely create their own mini-worlds — as mentioned before — and build a variety of structures, whether it’s a grandiose home, a lively tavern, or a simple training arena.
In addition to the building aspect of the game, players can look forward to thrilling and engaging battle sequences. The game makes use of a turn-based battle system where players can come up with their own skill deck and improve their abilities. You’ll also be able to make use of a Meridian system where you can gain buffs and find ways to reverse any debuffs. While there is no major storyline to follow, you can still run into some unique NPCs with their own mini-quests and plotlines for you to uncover. However, one thing to take note of is that the game does have some steep system requirements needed to run everything smoothly. In addition to a 64-bit processor and operating system, you will also need at least 5 GB of available storage space.
