A party-based fantasy JRPG

The Faceless Ones is a premium role-playing title by Valkyria Games. It's a strategy game inspired by classic JRPGs in terms of its pixel art style and turn-based combat mechanics. Here, players set out on a perilous journey to stop the resurrection of an ancient evil and save the world.
In the game, you control the party of Gualtier, Eidora, Cazis, and Hyndla, the four strongest warriors in the Kingdom of Abrujah. Under the command of Queen Berenice, you set forth on a journey to stop the titular group known as The Faceless Ones, looking to resurrect the evil lord, Moldark. It boasts a semi-open world to explore and meet with characters, as well as battle all kinds of deadly monsters standing in your way. The game also has an autosave feature, so you never lose any progress. All that said, the experience does lack some variety and can feel dull and repetitive after a while.
If you're a fan of JPRGs like Solemn Knight: Entirely Ours and Eiyuden Chronicles: Hundred Heroes, The Faceless Ones is a decent attempt at replicating that engaging and captivating experience. The pixel graphics look nice and the combat is solid, but it does get boring over time. Nevertheless, it's one worth checking out.
