Free Sifu game mod
Sifun is a free mod download for the Windows martial arts game, Sifu. You’ll need a platform to load the modified file packs, such as Nexus Mods Manager. The mod changes certain game elements, much like you’d find with OptiFabric - Minecraft Mod and San Andreas Mod Installer.
The developer of the Sifun Sifu mod explains that it was created to show that modding the game is possible. It mostly changes how camera angles and field-of-view (FOV) work, but there are some combat alterations. The same principles can be applied to Unreal Engine 4 modding.
Modified camera angles and effects
In the original Sifu game, the camera angles and FOV may feel restrictive at times. When you’re in the middle of your favourite combos, you may not have the right zoom distance to enjoy the visual effect of your moves. The Sifun Sifu mod aims to change that, giving you more distance.

You can increase or decrease the FOV and camera distance with the mod. It helps if you want a close-up or overall view of the scenery around you. For the most part, the developer just wants to prove that introducing mods for the game is possible.
Combat enhancements
There are some decent combat enhancements in the Sifun Sifu mod. For one, you’ll receive a 50% health increase for the main character, which means you’ll last longer in a lengthy fight. When you perform a kill or a takedown, you’ll replenish more health than usual. You can also move 25% faster. There are also experimental modifications, such as reduced recovery times and longer combos on enemies.
How to install Sifun Sifu mod
Installing Sifun Sifu mod is relatively easy. You need to find the paks folder in the game folder, which is where you can insert the .pak and .sig files. To be safe, it’s better if you created a second copy of the folder so you don’t accidentally mess up the game.
Enhance your martial arts
Sifun Sifu mod is one of the few Windows packs you can download for the game, which simply changes perspectives, camera distances and combat abilities. It’s ideal for testing how far modifications can take you, and it will probably spawn more mods in time to come.
Of course, you should be safe when making such changes, as they may affect the game performance. If something goes wrong, you’ll need to uninstall and reinstall the original Sifu files.
