A Brief Introduction to QuickNet
QuickNet is an open source solution for the network administration of small network and is a cross between the concept of Java and the Net architecture. QuickNet is Free & Open Source solution for all the networking operations with an easy and fast application delivery to any operating system. The core infrastructure consists of TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, and VPN technologies. It also provides a gateway to send requests to applications over the internet.
This program has an online demo that allows you to see the working of this system from a command-line console. In this software, you can run your own computer server and configure it by following the simple graphical instructions. This program has a high performance for small network applications and the best thing is that it is free. QuickNet comes in two different flavors, one being for the Windows operating system and the other one for Linux operating system. There is also a commercial version that comes in a commercial edition and this is also available in the market. QuickNet works well with Windows 2021, Windows XP or Windows Vista and it can be configured to work on any operating system that supports WinINet layer.
If you want to install QuickNet, you need to open a shell in Windows Explorer or a shortcut in your desktop for that purpose. From the shell or shortcut, you can either select Save as dialog box and select the QuickNet option. On the QuickNet menu, select Install/Uninstall and select the QuickNet app if you are using Windows server operating system. Finally, you can test your application by launching it from the QuickNet menu and see your application running in both Windows explorer and in the net inspector of your Linux machine.
