QUESTER | OSAKA is an engaging hack-and-slash game that merges classic RPG elements with JRPG storytelling. Set in a post-apocalyptic Osaka, players take on the roles of Questers, searching for treasures in the ruins of a once-thriving city. The game features retro-inspired graphics that evoke the charm of early PC RPGs while introducing modern gameplay mechanics, including a diverse roster of characters and customizable weaponry. With eight new classes and 32 characters, players can tailor their party to enhance their dungeon exploration experience.
The gameplay is challenging, offering a blend of nostalgic mechanics reminiscent of titles like Dungeon Master and The Bard's Tale. Players can choose from four preset starting parties to ease into the game. While the remastered version elevates the original experience with new quests and music, it retains a level of difficulty that may not appeal to everyone.
