Kyodai Mahjongg is a Java application that enables you to play the popular Japanese game, Kyodai. Developed by Kyodai Communications Corporation, this popular online game has been in continuous development since 1997. The game is played on computers and can be downloaded for free. In addition to having an extensive online database of games and variants, Kyodai Mahjongg also provides users with a variety of tools and resources that can be used to enhance the experience.
The basic layout of Kyodai Mahjongg 2021 is the same as that of the traditional oriental game. Two to four players take turns selecting tiles, placing them onto their matching columns and flicking the tiles to make the shape of the selected move. Players can alternate moves between rows, columns, and all the tiles in-between, using up to three pairs of tiles in each column or row. Tiles that are eliminated during a game are replaced by either the same color of the new tile or a random selection from a special pack. The object of the game is to eventually eliminate all of the tiles in one column without using the same color in the next column. This requires careful calculation of probabilities and strategic thinking on the part of the player.
While the basic rules of Kyodai Mahjongg Solitaire remain the same, thanks to the many improvements made by the developers over the years, it is still possible to play the game using the advanced layouts and tools.
