Don't Let Your Hamster Fall!

Hamsters are cute little pets that only needs a large, clean cage to be happy. However, sometimes they like to run around in their hamster balls as well, and they are adorable when they do. Hamsterball is an arcade game developed by Raptisoft, and as its name suggests, it is a game where you control a little hamster running around in its ball to reach its goal.

Premise

There is not much to say about the game’s general premise. You play as a cute hamster in a ball,  but you are running around an elevated path with no railings and one wrong move will send you plummeting into the depths.

Your objective in the game is the guide your little mouse through the path to reach the goal. Of course, this is easier said than done as the ball can roll into wildly different directions, causing your hamster to fall down a cliff and break its ball. There are also various obstacles like billiard balls and mouse traps lying around which would cause problems to your hamster.

Graphics

The graphics of the game look a bit outdated. There are barely any details in the environment, and there are no noticeable differences between each level aside from changes in color scheme. The music also tends to be a bit repetitive.

Fun, Though Unpolished

Despite looking a bit unpolished, Hamsterball is a pretty fun game due to the challenge that it can pose its users. If you are looking for a simple arcade game with little emotional investment, this is the game to check out.
