Freeraser is a great little freeware removal tool for Vista. Like many other similar programs, Freeraser also supports the standard three removal methods (force, quick and ultimate). However, unlike some similar tools, I've found that Freeraser tends to crash quite frequently - especially if you have a lot of settings/recents open at once. If this is the case, you may want to use a Freeraser backup/restore program such as Ultimate Fix Pro. This program has been designed by professional computer technicians and contains all the same features as the freebase plus much more.Freeraser also supports three undelete methods (fast, total and forced) and works quite effectively on this. One problem with freebase is that it cannot determine whether the file is deleted or not unless you tell it so; so it does not return to you if you simply delete files without telling it to erase them. Moreover, if you are looking for some random data, it can become quite a tiresome job to find the files that are deleted from your recycle bin. Another problem with freebase is that it does not have an 'undo' feature so you are left with no choice but to restart your computer in order to get the deleted files back.
Ultimate Fix Pro is a program that was written by computer technicians who know exactly what to do if you are faced with the situation mentioned above. This program not only has an undelete/recover feature; it also has a junk file remover that prevents your computer from unnecessarily deleting any files that are not required. Finally, Ultimate Fix Pro has a total scanning engine which allows it to locate and remove any of the random data files that are being deleted by freebase. By using this software, you will be able to regain the precious few files that are still in your recycle bin even if you accidentally deleted the files from the recycle bin.
