Finally, the update also adds the "enchanted pitch" that you will first see at the beginning of the match, which simulates a real football pitch in a much more dense way than the usual grassy field that is used during matches.
Other new features in this version include the "EA Sports Live" service that allows you to connect with your friends from all around the world who are also participating in the World Cup tournament, you can now upload any picture you want onto the walls of your hotel room and chat with other players who are in the same hotel room. For gamers at the other end of the spectrum, the new "EA Sports Active Server" service gives you the chance to connect with several thousand other players at the same time. With this, you get to enjoy the excitement of a real football match from the comfort of your own home, where you can invite your friends to join you and play together in the match! In addition to all these exciting features and more, the game has been made available in many other languages for those who don't speak English as their first language.
