Free zombie shooter survival game

Project Zomboid Survival is a free zombie shooting game in a first-person perspective based on the PC game Project Zomboid. However, instead of a top-down view with building elements, you’ll enter levels with weapons and are tasked to eliminate any undead you see along the way. For other post-apocalyptic games, you can try Zombie Shooter, Dawn of Zombies and Dead Empire: Zombie War.

The game mechanics are basic, with buttons presenting actions on the lower part of the screen. The graphics aren’t fantastic, but it’s good enough to see where you are and what you’re shooting at. While the original PC game is made by The Indie Stone, this mobile adaptation is made by Gzoula Games.

Days of survival

The apocalypse has happened, and the undead are here. In Project Zomboid Survival, you’ll have a list of days that present the chapters in the story. As you progress, the levels become more challenging to see how long you can survive. It’s up to you to save humankind.

Clearing levels

The main objective of Project Zomboid Survival is to clear the levels of the undead. There are different types; you’ll need to ensure you don’t become cornered by groups. You can climb to higher rooftops or platforms, having the edge from a higher perspective. 

Buying weapons

You’ll need to obtain more powerful weapons to make it through the harder levels. You’ll find and earn cash along the way, which you can use to buy better firearms. With your new firepower in your hands, you’ll have a better chance of survival. First, however, you must choose which gun you use wisely.

Take out the undead

Project Zomboid Survival doesn’t present many features other than entering a level and eliminating the undead. However, you’ll still have plenty of action as you shoot your way through them, keeping you on your fingers.

Getting used to the FPS button action may take some time, but you’ll need to master it before you reach the more challenging levels. However, with the right weapons in hand, you should be able to survive.
