Block Flash from hogging your browser

Flashblock is an extension for Firefox that takes a zero tolerance approach to Flash pop-ups. It simply stops them from loading before they appear and leaves Flash markers on the webpage that allow you to click and download the Flash content if you want to. This saves intrusion on your browsing, rescues bandwidth, and reduces the risk of your browser crashing. Flashblock is an excellent tool for anyone that has had enough of Flash pop-ups and ads ruining their browsing experience.
Flashblock is particularly useful when browsing Flash-heavy sites such as MySpace, where you often spend more time fighting pop-ups, ads, and animations than reading people's profiles. There aren't many configuration options, but there is a Whitelist feature that allows you to exclude certain Flash content, such as gaming sites.
