Data Extractor - Add Target Function
Data Extractor software comes with both text and image formats for CIC databases. It can be used directly by the user by downloading the software and following few simple steps. Alternatively, it can also be used by downloading and installing the "Data Extractor 2021" from the website and then running the extracted data inside the program. Data extractors are available in two versions - one for Windows and one for Linux. Windows version comes as a packaged application with installation packager and a user guide while the same is true about the Linux version.
As one would expect with any standard desktop computer application, Data Extractor has a main menu and several other menus to help the user along the way. One can switch between several views using the left and right menus and when a view is open, a number of basic options on how to run the program are listed in the same menu. A typical menu option is: "Add Target", where a user name and optional parameters to run the data extractor are listed, followed by a list of all files currently being used by the program.
